RTD ELATI LIGHT RAIL FACILITY

 

 

Situated along the south west Light Rail line, the facility houses the maintenance and administrative services for RTD Light Rail.

 

The project features a vaulted metal roof over the entire service facility and main entry.  The administration and operations areas  are clad in masonry and are scaled down to address the adjacent neighborhood context.

 

With the capacity to maintain more than 100 light rail vehicles, the maintenance area is designed with a masonry and metal panel skin.  Natural daylight is introduced through the use of translucent infill panels into the maintenance areas enhancing the work environment.
